Saints Wrap up Florida Trip With a "W"

The Saint Scholastica Saints baseball team finished up their spring trip to the great state of Florida with a 16-5 win over Grinnell College on Friday. The Saints broke away from a 5-5 tie in the fifth inning on the heels of Darrel Fuchihara and Tom Simonson who each had two-run singles in the inning. Keith Ritsche picked up the win in relief by allowing only one run on four hits with five strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. Luke Olin had three hits, scored three runs and had two RBIs for the Saints. Fuchihara had three hits, three runs and two RBIs and D.J. Lahti had three hits, including a three-run home run. The Saints upped their record to 12-2 for the season before heading back north to Duluth. Here's the Saints schedule and results thus far!
