Saints versus Royals Game 1

This afternoon at the HHH Metrodome the St. Scholastica Saints Baseball Team defeated the Bethel University Royals by the score of 12-1 in the first game for both teams here in 2007. The Saints were led on the mound be Senior Keith Ritsche who didn't allow a run while on the hill and earned his first win of the season. Fellow Senior Mark Erickson also threw for the Saints and shut down the Royals by allowing only one. The same two teams are gearing up for Game 2 of the doubleheader coming up shortly as St. Scholastica will send another Senior Mark Moriarty to the mound for the start.
