Saints Top Cougars

The Saint Scholastica Saints Baseball team stayed undefeated in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play by defeating the University of Minnesota-Morris Cougars by the score of 11-2 at Wade Stadium in Duluth on Friday.

The same two teams will meet again Saturday at noon at Wade Stadium for a doubleheader as the Saints will wrap up UMAC play for the regular season. CSS will then take on St. Thomas at 1 PM on Sunday in a nine-inning contest against the nationally-ranked Tommies to finish off the 2006 regular season schedule. Sunday's contest will be broadcast locally on AM 710 WDSM or through a webcast right here at www.CSSBaseball.blogspot.com!
