Saints Move Into UMAC Championship
The Saint Scholastica Saints Baseball team advanced all the way into the 2006 UMAC Championship Game by defeating both the University of Minnesota-Morris and Northland College by scores of 15-4 and 17-1 on Thursday at Wade Stadium in Duluth.
In the first game of the day for St. Scholastica Senior Luke Olin etched his name into the NCAA Division III Record Book when he struck an 8th inning triple against Minnesota-Morris. The triple was Olin's 14th of the season, breaking the single season record of 13 set by Tom Mohl of Marietta College in Ohio in 1982. Mohl's 13 triples were over 63 games. Olin's record was set in his 39th game of the season.

How telling is it that three of your four losses came against the two best teams in the MIAC, both of which are in the same Regional week? Wow, going to be a tough road for the Saints...
